As part of National Volunteers' Week 2012, Gosport Volunteer Centre will be holding a Diamond Jubilee Tea Party in 1950’s style at Gosport Thorngate Hall Ballroom from 4pm - 6pm on Thursday 31st May 2012.
The Mayor of Gosport will be awarding Volunteer Certificates and there will be the Tea Party with entertainment for all volunteers afterwards.

What is a ‘Diamond Volunteer’ Award?
A special certificate of recognition for volunteers and organisations who have been serving the community for 60 years – or as long as the queen has been on the throne! At this ceremony the very special people and organisations who are Gosport’s true ‘Diamond Volunteers’ will be honoured.

Goshawks Gymnastics (and Trampolining) Club are looking for a Sports Coach Volunteer. If you have a keen interest in sport, we are looking for Sports Coach Volunteers for all types of activities such as trampoline, aerobic training and gymnastics. The club is a thriving, friendly place and welcomes applications from anyone who has an interest in helping at the club in any capacity, be it behind the scenes or actively in the club.
Volunteers will need to have a keen interest in sport and have a desire to work in a gymnastics environment. You must be physically able. A CRB Check will be required.
Hours: Sessions are held every night of the week, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday mornings or afternoons, at various venues in Gosport.
No previous experience necessary as training is available.
